Text is in Italian with German under

Rossini's “Barber of Seville” is certainly the composer's best-known work and one of the most frequently performed operas of all. The present vocal score follows the much acclaimed Urtext edition (BA 10506) as part of the “Works of Gioachino Rossini” edition and is available in two versions: Italian-German and Italian-English.

Both versions of the piano reduction offer revised and modernized vocal translations in German and English (BA 10506b).

The appendices to the score are all included in the piano reduction. They offer variants of individual arias, additional numbers that were created for certain performances, and the transposed versions of numbers 5, 6 and 11.
