This practical and inspired anthem, ideal for performance by children's choirs and/or adult choirs, can be utilized in a variety of ways during Advent worship or corresponding candle lighting ceremonies. Four different optional narrations are provided for each Advent Sunday, optional congregational singing is encouraged, and strains of "Didst Leave Thy Throne" can be heard alongside lovely original melodies.
