Etudes in All the Major and Minor Keys for trumpet is a collection of 32 works designed for trumpeters who have just reached an advanced level of talent. The exercises include arpeggio studies, double and triple tonguing, some larger interval passages at fast tempi, articulation studies, standard simple and compound meters, but also including 3/8, 4/8, 9/8. Most etudes tend to feature a particular rhythmic pattern and create an interest through harmonic, dynamic, and articulation changes.
